A beautifully glossy melamine table mat featuring a digital collage landscape image of the Summer Isles from Achiltibuie

Finished with a eucalyptus base and hard-wearing cork backing.

Easily wiped clean, and will withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees centigrade.

Cath's digital collages combine landscape photography with mixed media and photographed textures - creating atmospheric artwork reflecting the calm and solitude of special places in Scotland.

For The Summer Isles from Achiltibuie, Cath used a photograph of the peeling paint on the side of an old fishing boat in theyard at Achiltibuie as the lower layer of the image. The upper layer is lichen on the surface of one of the Kilmartin standing stones. She has digitally coloured and blended sections of the stones and lichen, and subtly blendedwith other textures to create the finished piece.
