Gluggle Jugs make the most delightful glug glug sound as they pour! Originally intended for use as water jugs, they are not just a great talking point- they truly versatile. Of course they are great for water or wine, bu tthey also look fabulous as a vase or a utensil holder, or just sitting looking pretty on your shelf or sideboard.

This mini jug is 9cm high and holds 50ml - great for adding water to your dram.

The world famous 'Gurgling Fish Jugs' were originally produced by Dartmouth Pottery in the 1950s: "…..a novelty which always attracts attention’. A special pair were made in 1958 for presentation to the Queen and Prince Philip, and they were also used as advertising items by breweries, and over the years hundreds were made to advertise ‘Plymouth Gin’.

Gurgling jugs inherited their name due to the sound they make when liquid is poured out.

When Dartmouth Pottery closed in 2002, Wade Ceramics bought the mould, and have continued to produce the jugs since then.
