Archipelago was established over 20 years ago and since then the company has grown into one which brings together artists from opposite side of the globe. Talented UK based designers work in tandem with skilled carvers in Indonesia, in order to produce beautiful, hand-crafted decorative pieces for the home. The result of this collaboration include the stunning collection of driftwood pieces you see here, each of which is hand-carved from sustainable timber, and traded fairly.

Each piece thus has an authentic character which is both instantly recognisable and highly individual. Our selection includes doorstops featuring a varied roster of animals – from seals to sheep to sanderlings. Equally alluring are our range of wood-carved birds, including kingfishers, puffins and woodpeckers; each comes affixed to a stump of real driftwood, and each would make an ideal decoration for any kitchen counter or living-room mantelpiece. The range also encompasses dangling wooden jewelry, as well as boats and lighthouses. There’s plenty to choose from!
